App Crashes & Freezing

Is the Kristal Streams app crashing or freezing? Follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

Basic Troubleshooting

Try these quick fixes first:

  1. Force close the app completely and reopen it
  2. Restart your device (phone, tablet, TV, etc.)
  3. Check if other apps are working normally
  4. Free up storage space on your device (need at least 500MB)
  5. Close other apps running in the background

Update or Reinstall

Outdated app versions can cause crashes:

  • Check for app updates in your device's app store
  • Install any pending system software updates
  • If updates don't help, uninstall the app completely
  • Restart your device after uninstalling
  • Download and install the latest version from the app store

Clear App Data

Corrupted cache can cause crashes. Here's how to clear it:

Android:

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → Kristal Streams
  2. Tap "Storage" or "Storage & Cache"
  3. Tap "Clear Cache" first, then "Clear Data" if needed
  4. You'll need to log in again after clearing data

iOS:

  1. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage
  2. Find and tap Kristal Streams
  3. Tap "Offload App" to clear cache while keeping data
  4. Or "Delete App" to remove everything, then reinstall

Smart TV:

  1. Navigate to app settings on your TV
  2. Find Kristal Streams and select it
  3. Look for "Clear cache" or "Clear data" option
  4. Restart the TV after clearing

Device Compatibility

Make sure your device meets the minimum requirements:

  • Android 8.0 or higher
  • iOS 13.0 or higher
  • At least 2GB RAM
  • 500MB free storage space
