Gaming Console Setup

Set up Kristal Streams on your PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch.

PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4

Installation:

  1. From the home screen, go to the PlayStation Store
  2. Use the search function to find "Kristal Streams"
  3. Select the app from search results
  4. Click "Download" to install
  5. Once installed, the app will appear in your Media section
  6. Launch the app and sign in with your credentials

Navigation Tips:

  • Use the D-pad or left stick to navigate menus
  • X button (PS5) or Cross button (PS4) to select
  • Circle button to go back
  • Options button for additional settings

Requirements: PlayStation Plus not required • 500MB storage space

Xbox Series X|S & Xbox One

Installation:

  1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide
  2. Select "Store" from the menu
  3. Go to "Search" and type "Kristal Streams"
  4. Select the Kristal Streams app
  5. Click "Get" or "Install"
  6. Wait for the download to complete
  7. Launch from "My Apps & Games" under "Apps"
  8. Sign in to your Kristal Streams account

Navigation Tips:

  • Use the D-pad or left stick for navigation
  • A button to select
  • B button to go back
  • Menu button for options
  • View button for additional info

Requirements: Xbox Live Gold not required • 500MB storage space

Nintendo Switch

Installation:

  1. From the home menu, select the Nintendo eShop
  2. Use the search function (top left)
  3. Search for "Kristal Streams"
  4. Select the app and download it (free)
  5. Return to the home menu
  6. Launch the Kristal Streams app
  7. Log in with your account details

Best Viewing Experience:

  • Use docked mode for TV viewing
  • Handheld mode works great for personal viewing
  • Connect to Wi-Fi for best streaming quality
  • Use headphones in handheld mode for better audio

Requirements: Nintendo Switch Online not required • Wi-Fi connection

Optimize Console Streaming

Tips for the best performance:

  • Use a wired Ethernet connection when possible
  • Close other games and apps before streaming
  • Keep your console's system software updated
  • Position your console for good ventilation
  • Restart the console if you experience issues
  • Clear the app cache periodically

Controller Navigation

Common controls across all consoles:

  • D-pad or Left Stick: Navigate menu items
  • A/X/A: Select and play content
  • B/Circle/B: Go back or exit
  • Triggers: Fast forward and rewind during playback
  • Bumpers: Switch between sections
  • Start/Options/Plus: Pause menu and settings

Troubleshooting

  • If the app won't download, check your storage space
  • Make sure your console is connected to the internet
  • Test your connection speed (need 10+ Mbps for HD)
  • Update your console's system software
  • Delete and reinstall the app if it crashes
  • Check Kristal Streams service status if nothing loads
