Audio/Video Sync Issues
Is your audio out of sync with the video? Here's how to fix audio and video synchronization problems.
Quick Fixes
Try these simple solutions first:
- Pause the video for 5 seconds, then resume playback
- Refresh the page or restart the app
- Skip forward 10 seconds and back to reset the stream
- Switch to a different channel and back
- Close and reopen the streaming app
Device Settings
Check your device settings:
- Update your streaming app to the latest version
- Clear the app cache and data
- Restart your streaming device (TV, phone, tablet, etc.)
- Check for system software updates
- Uninstall and reinstall the app if the problem persists
External Audio Devices
If you're using external speakers, soundbar, or headphones:
- Bluetooth devices can introduce audio delay - try wired connection
- Check your TV or soundbar for "Audio Sync" or "Lip Sync" settings
- Adjust audio delay settings (usually between -200ms to +200ms)
- Disable any audio processing features like surround sound temporarily
- Try connecting audio directly to your TV instead of through a receiver
Connection Issues
Poor internet connection can cause sync problems:
- Run a speed test to check your internet connection
- Lower the streaming quality if your internet is slow
- Use a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi
- Close other apps or devices using bandwidth
- Restart your router and modem
Browser-Specific Fixes
If streaming on a web browser:
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Enable hardware acceleration in browser settings
- Close unnecessary browser tabs
